We keep the brand alive for Main Street Kansas City by working with their established brand standards to help them tell their story to the Kansas City area that they serve and the community at large. These images show the visual elements in the Main Street streetscape such as brand colors—red, black, gray and yellow accent.
The Main Street review tells what MainCor and the CID are doing to carry out their mission as the concierge of Main Street and therefore an organization that deserves the support of the community.
A CID is a community improvement district supported by a dedicated tax from residents and businesses. The CID manager and “red shirts” take care of the streetscape, clean the streets, shovel snow, look out for problems and work to solve them. They also keep the community informed about local issues.
The Main Street annual report tells the community what they've done, the results of their good work and plans for the future.

In 2015, the CID boundaries changed and services came to a larger area. A three panel brochure was used to inform the neighborhood about what benefits they will get, when the benefits would happen and who the “red shirts” are.

Main Street is the spine of Midtown Kansas City. To generate some Midtown awareness and pride, I did a Luv Midtown KC logo that they made into stickers. Then they painted it on the Midtown Thriftway grocery building wall. People can take selfies and post on social media to express the luv for Midtown.
